About the Founder

Mahad Shakil, Founder & CEO

Mahad Shakil is the Founder and CEO of Branvia LLC and specializes in building clinical laboratories from the ground up. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computing from the University of Washington and has focused his career on laboratory development, operations, and growth.

Over the past year, Mahad has worked with seven laboratories across multiple states, helping take them from concept to operation. His experience includes CLIA applications, COLA accreditation preparation, SOP development, Medicare inspection readiness and enrollment, payer credentialing, instrument selection, test validations, Laboratory Director placement, and overall laboratory setup.

Before expanding into consulting, Mahad managed a clinical laboratory and helped scale its operations to more than seven figures in annual revenue. That hands-on experience shaped his approach to consulting: not simply telling clients what needs to be done, but helping execute the process from the earliest stages through a fully operational laboratory.

Mahad founded Branvia with a broader mission—to help ambitious professionals create businesses of their own rather than remain limited by traditional career paths. He is particularly passionate about helping people with technical backgrounds enter the laboratory industry by providing the infrastructure, regulatory guidance, and operational support needed to build a real healthcare business. He has already helped multiple entrepreneurs begin that transition and continues to make laboratory ownership more accessible to those willing to build it.
